Tropical Storm Tammy, though no longer fully developed, threatens Bermuda this weekend. US meteorologists are monitoring a potential tropical system in the Atlantic. Bermuda is on alert with Tammy in the central Atlantic. It weakened from a Category 2 hurricane and is now a tropical storm, expected to persist through the weekend.

US Meteorologist predicted Tammy regaining tropical storm status on Friday. The main impacts are strong winds, rough seas, and heavy surf. Tammy’s Local StormMaxâ„¢ in Bermuda is 70 mph. Small craft operators should be cautious due to stormy conditions. The rain, between 0.50 and 1.50 inches, won’t be a problem for Bermuda’s water supply.
