Weather for International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is on March 8th. It’s a special day to celebrate women’s accomplishments and to say that men and women should have the same rights. Even though we should think about this every day, it’s nice to have a special day to celebrate outside when the weather is good. In the United States, there are many places with nice weather to celebrate Women’s Day.

Sunny West Coast:
In San Diego, California, there’s a beautiful park called Balboa Park. It’s a big park with museums, gardens, and even a zoo. It’s perfect for celebrating International Women’s Day outside.
Santa Monica, California, is famous for its pier. You can celebrate Women’s Day there and enjoy the beach, watch street performers, and eat at nice restaurants.
Phoenix, Arizona, has warm weather and clear skies. You can hike or bike in Piestewa Peak Park and see great views of the city.
Charming Southwest:
Austin, Texas, is known for its live music. Zilker Metropolitan Park is a big park where you can have a picnic, listen to music, or just enjoy the nice weather.
In San Antonio, Texas, there’s a place called the River Walk. It’s a path along the river with shops and restaurants. You can take a boat tour or just walk and enjoy the sun.
Santa Fe, New Mexico, has a lot of culture. There’s a place called Museum Hill with museums about art, history, and native cultures.

Charleston, South Carolina, has a pretty waterfront. You can take a carriage tour, walk in the park, or go on a boat ride.
Savannah, Georgia, is known for its history and beauty. Forsyth Park is a big park where you can have a picnic or just relax.
St. Augustine, Florida, is the oldest city in the U.S. There’s a fort called Castillo de San Marcos where you can learn about history and enjoy the sun.
Island Fun:
Honolulu, Hawaii, is a tropical paradise. Kapiolani Park is a big park where you can have a picnic or watch performances.
