Two Major Storms in California  Recent world climate News

Two big storms are coming to California. They will bring lots of rain, which could cause flooding and landslides.

California recently had a bad storm in February. It caused a lot of rain and many landslides in Los Angeles and other places in Southern California.

The two new storms won’t be as bad as the one in February. But they will still bring a lot of rain, especially the second one. This could cause flooding.

More than 27 million people in California are under flood watches. These watches go from Northern California to parts of Los Angeles.

The first storm will start on Saturday morning in Northern California. It will bring 1 to 2 inches of rain. The Central Coast and Southern California will only get a little rain.

The second storm will come on Sunday afternoon. It will stay for a few days and bring a lot of rain. This will cause problems, especially in areas with steep hills.

There will also be strong winds, but not as strong as in February. These winds could knock down trees and cause power outages.

The heaviest rain will be in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. They could get 2 to 6 inches of rain from Sunday to Wednesday.

The coast will get a lot of rain, but higher places will get snow. On Saturday, the Sierra Nevada mountains could get 4 to 10 inches of snow. On Wednesday, they could get up to 4 feet of snow.

If you’re in the mountains, it’s best to stay inside during the storm. The roads could be dangerous, and it could be hard to see because of the snow.
