As winter lingers across Australia, another round of snow is expected to close this weekend in parts of Victoria and southern New South Wales.Residents may not find snow in some areas, but a new blast of chilly air will bring more snow to Southeastern Australia later Monday morning.

However, the previous winter storm may have caused some of the snowstorms to fall.300 meters (just under 1,000 feet) in Victoria and New South Wales last weekend. Sunday night into Monday morning, snow levels may be as low as 450 meters (1,500 feet).

Little, if any, of the storm’s rain is expected to reach the city, but there will still be a noticeable drop in temperatures.Temperatures rising to around 23 C (73 F) on Sundays will be replaced by readings struggling to reach 16 C (60 F) on Monday.There are no signs of spring getting off early next week.”Behind this first storm, a second one will follow, with some additional rain, low snow levels and strong winds starting Tuesday and possibly no departure until late Thursday.
